Baileys Irish Cream cakes and scones.

Any party or event is seen as a success if it has a cake. It is safe to say that a cake is the icing of any party. Personally l enjoy having cakes and the beauty of it all is marked by how the cake is decorated, how sweet it looks like, how it tastes like and how well it is presented.

Now imagine having a Baileys made cake, delicious right? I am pretty sure you didn’t know Baileys can make a cake. Good news is, l am going to share a few recipes of delicacies made with Baileys Irish Cream that I am certain once you try them, they’ll become your favorite snack.

Moist Baileys Irish Cream and vanilla cake;

Preheat the oven for 10 minutes.

2 cups of flour (of your choice)

½ cup of milk

1 tbsp of baking powder.

½ cup Baileys Irish Cream.

¾ cup oil.

1 tsp vanilla flavor (Vanilla has a strong scent to it)

1 tsp of salt

4 eggs

1 cup of sugar.

Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar well.

Add in milk, Baileys Irish Cream. Eggs and oil and whisk till smooth (You can use a whisking machine to make your work easier) Put in your baking tin and bake for 40 minutes at 180 degrees.

Baileys Irish Cream and cardamom drop scones;

½ cup milk

1/3 cup Baileys Irish Cream

1 3/4 cups self-raising flour

1/3 cup sugar

3 eggs

½ tsp salt

1 tsp cardamom powder

In a bowl, whisk the eggs, add in the sugar and whisk till smooth (In case you find it difficult to whisk using a spoon, use a whisking machine) then add in your milk, Baileys Irish Cream and whisk. Add salt and cardamom and whisk, add the flour and mix well until there’s no lumps in it.

In a cooking pan, heat oil and pour your mixture, let it cook on the side that you poured in first then flip the other side (be careful not to hurt yourself) to cook. Make the scones are well cooked.

Baileys chocolate cake;

¾ cup of sugar

¾ cup of water

¼ cup of Baileys Irish Cream

½ tsp salt

2 tsp of baking powder

1 ¼ cup of flour

¼ cup of oil

3 eggs

½ cup of boiling water

1/3 cup of cocoa powder

Combine the cocoa and boiling water, stir until the cocoa has dissolved and the mixture is smooth, add eggs, sugar and oil, add the cocoa mixture and mix for a minute, mix the flour, baking powder and salt add the egg mixture and beat until well combined.

Take your baking tin, smear margarine and dust with flour then pour your mixture into a baking tin and bake for 20-25 minutes.
